The Collaborative and Becoming are partnering to bring women this unique 8 week journey. Combining theology rich in teaching and reading with contemplative practices, the aim of the study is to develop deep relationship and unity across church borders with other sisters in Christ.
Women rooted in and living out of their true identity in Christ have enormous Kingdom impact in the community. Women grounded in truth are no longer posturing, comparing, and competing for the approval and affirmation of the world. Instead, they confidently pursue God’s will for their lives in each role and season, freed from worrying about if they are “missing out” or getting left behind. These women are the world changers--whether faithfully discipling children at home or boldly bringing Christ into the boardroom.
Women who receive God’s glorious identity for themselves and believe it forge the way for good in our culture… and we need more of them. For this reason, BECOMING desires to create a space for women of different denominations, races, generations, and work backgrounds to come together to learn about their identity in Christ and open up dialogue, learning, and community surrounding this crucial topic.
This is an 8-week, deep dive course equipping head, heart, and hands.
The Identity Study will be a truly transformative experience as we combine theology-rich teaching and reading with contemplative practices (Lectio Divina, Prayer of Examen, music, art) to develop deep relationship and unity across church borders with other sisters in Christ.
