HR Professionals Speak Into Faith, Work & Gender

|

Today we welcome two Human Resources professionals to give us a ground level perspective. Amy Lein, is the Chief Human Resources Officer at Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida. Second Harvest serves seven counties and with the aid of countless volunteers and partners distributed 81 million meals last year. Amy is also a 2018 Gotham Fellow graduate. Nate Shannon is the Director of People Operations with IServ Management Group. Their 1600 employees work in a variety of capacities in the brand’s companies of Sonny’s BBQ, Jeremiah’s Italian Ice, Symmetry Coffee, and more. Both, Amy and Nate, are the past presidents of The Greater Orlando Society for Human Resource Management.

In this episode, we discuss important questions like:

- How do we best love and care for people?
- Is your company a safe place and a place where people can flourish?
- How do you welcome people?
- Do people feel welcome in their work?

We switch the format for this episode as well. Case and I begin by setting the table for the discussion to come. As always, we pray that this and our other conversations will stir your own heart and imagination for living a life that brings you into greater union with God.

Happy Listening!
