We have a treat for you this week. The timeliness of this podcast is particularly poignant as we will reach another sad anniversary on Wednesday, June 12, 2019. It is hard to believe it has been three years since that horrific shooting at the Pulse nightclub. While this podcast does not directly address that senseless massacre, there is much for us to learn from a theology that includes common grace. This doctrine helps to build a construct for how to think about the lives that were lost that day. Common grace can also foster greater humility and deepen our maturity in Christ, which should always be some of the outcomes from such vivid brokenness in humanity as displayed by the shooter.
Please take the time to listen to this podcast with Case Thorp and Brandon Queen, the host of The E.A.R. podcast, on Common Grace. Among other things they discuss common grace as a tool for common ground. Below are a variety of link options for your listening pleasure.
